Improv Award

This summer I had the priviledge to paint the installation for the Oscar Peterson bronze sculpture created by Ruth Abernethy. The corner of Elgin and Albert Streets was blocked off as the Queen and Prince Philip  unveiled it. It was a proud moment for all of us who worked on the event. And there were many who put this together.Recognition for one's part in a large important event such as this, often goes unoticed, but to my surprise I was nominated and won the Improv Award from the National Arts Centre for my contribution to this installation.
